The Grand Traverse County Democrats will be volunteering at the State Theatre on the first Monday of every month.  There are two shifts:  2:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.  and 4:45 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.  If you're interested in volunteering for this activity, please contact June Thaden at 947-8476 or via email at jthaden@charter.net.  You may also contact Marge Forgione at 946-5555 or via email at gtdems@sbcglobal.net.

Due to the Cherry Festival Activites, the Executive Board Meeting has been cancelled.

The annual Governor's Breakfast will be held at the Holiday Inn - 615 E. Front St - Traverse City.  This breakfast features numerous speakers in conjunction with the Royal Parade of the National Cherry Festival.  Confirmed speakers to date:  U.S. Senator Carl Levin, State Representative Dan Scripps, State Representative Gary McDowell, and Secretary of State Candidate Jocelyn Benson. Suggested donation $15.00 per person.
